About the Role
Civil Professional Engineer will perform site investigations, prepare calculations, drawings, and design specifications detailing the layout and materials for all site features including grading, paving, roads, parking areas, curbs & gutters, walks, exterior accessibility (including steps and ramps), site signage, and underground utilities including water, storm water, sanitary, and natural gas systems.
In addition, the Civil Engineer will design and prepare deliverable drawings for underground sewer & drainage, waste treatment, firewater systems, footings, retaining walls, and foundations for buildings and equipment.
The Civil Engineer will prepare specifications, requisitions, and bid analysis/purchase orders for the materials covered on the drawings. The Civil Engineer will coordinate and provide input for geotechnical investigations and topographical/civil surveys as well as coordinate with the Electrical Engineer with site electrical utilities and the building design team for building utility services.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in site utilities is desired; Seven years minimum of consulting experience with a Civil Engineering firm required. CADD/Civil 3D experience is also required.

Good verbal & written communication skills
Construction Administration Services Experience
Some travel to client sites for investigations and meetings
Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an American Board of Engineering Technology Accredited Engineering College or University
Airfield Pavement Design Experience
Proven project and client management skills
Some Business Development skills
