About the Role
Civil Engineer will work under the direction of a Senior Civil Engineer to prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Civil Engineer will perform drawing details, material take offs, and field investigations as required to develop and complete civil designs.
Civil Engineer will coordinate with other trades / disciplines such as geotechnical engineers, topographical surveyors, structural engineers, and others to work on multidisciplinary designs.

Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an American Board of Engineering Technology Accredited Engineering College / University
Valid Professional Civil Engineering license in the State of California
Background with Public Projects
Estimating
Perform Constructability Review of drawings
Co-coordination with Consultants and Contractors
On-site, Field Experience
Ability to review calculations, drawings, and specifications, and provide meaningful comments
Good verbal & written communication skills
Construction Administration Services Experience
US Citizenship
Some travel to client sites for investigations and meetings
PREFERRED
Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an American Board of Engineering Technology Accredited Engineering College or University
Airfield Pavement Design Experience
Proven project and client management skills
Some Business Development skills
