Pavement Condition Surveys at Various AFBs

KAL provided airfield and/or road Pavement Condition Index (PCI) surveys & corresponding analysis and reports on infrastructure condition assessments at 5 AFBs in the Western US. These included Los Angeles AFB, Nellis AFB, Travis AFB, Mountain AFB, and Eareckson Air Station. This project required the verification of pavement inventory and a condition survey to document specific distresses on the airfield, roads, and parking areas. As part of the effort, KAL updated the PAVER pavement management system database for maintenance, repairs, and new construction.
