City of Indio Multi-Modal Transportation Center

KAL was tasked to design this 28,000 SF multi-modal transportation center in the City of Indio, CA. The facility included tenant areas for transportation-related services for rail, bus, and cars as well as a meeting area for the community. Designs for this 2-story steel frame building with steel moment & brace frames and concrete roof tiles, an on-grade concrete floor with grade beams and concrete foundations, mechanical fan coil units, interior lighting, communications, and fire suppression/alarm system.
