About the Role

Mechanical Engineer/Designer will perform site investigations, prepare calculations and drawings, detailing the layout and materials for all mechanical requirements/systems including site utility requirements (natural gas, water, sewer, etc.) and building mechanical/plumbing requirements/systems under the direction of the senior mechanical engineer.

Mechanical Engineer/Designer will prepare deliverable drawings and calculations of the mechanical systems under supervision of the senior mechanical engineer.

Mechanical Engineer/Designer, as needed, will coordinate with the architect, structural engineer, electrical engineer, and civil engineer to provide a fully coordinated design package.

Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering;

  • 3-10 years of Consulting Experience with a Mechanical Engineering Firm;

  • Proficient with REVIT/CADD/Mechanical Engineering software;

  • Background with Public Projects;

  • Estimating;

  • Co-coordinating with consultants and contractors;

  • On-site, field experience;

  • Good verbal & written communication skills.


PREFERRED:

  • MS Mechanical Engineering Degree;

  • EIT obtained in the State of California;
