About the Role
Senior Civil Engineer will perform site investigations, prepare calculations / drawings / design specifications detailing the layout and materials for all civil requirements / systems including site utility requirements such as natural gas, water, sewer, etc.
Senior Civil Engineer will prepare required calculations for systems, prepare specifications, requisitions, and bid analysis / purchase orders for the materials covered on the drawings.
Senior Civil Engineer will coordinate and provide input with the architect, structural engineer, electrical engineer, and mechanical engineer to provide a fully coordinated design package.

Requirements
Primary Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an American Board of Engineering Technology Accredited Engineering College / University
Minimum of 7 years of consulting experience with a civil engineering design firm
Professional Civil Engineer licensure in California
Experience with Civil 3D / CADD / PCASE / Civil engineering software
Background with Public Projects including the Federal Government / Military
Experience with airfield pavement and road design
US Citizenship
Some travel to client sites for investigations and meetings
Additional Skills Required:
Ability to perform constructability review of drawings
Experience coordinating with consultants & contractors
On-site field experience
Ability to review calculations, drawings, and specification to provide meaningful comments
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Construction Administration Services
