Renovations to Big Bear Discovery Center in the Angeles National Forest

KAL was the Prime Contractor for this Design-Build project for the US Department of Agriculture/Forestry Service in the Angeles National Forest, CA. Initially KAL was tasked to provide A/E services to create conceptual design plans for the Big Bear Discovery Center. Concepts for the expansion of the existing Discovery Center building, including a 3,000 SF exhibit hall, additional office space, expanded retail space, limited food service, storage, an outdoor amphitheater, and learning center. Conceptual site plans included reallocating and redesigning existing space for other purposes.
