A/E Services for Construction of 7 Air Treatment Facilities

KAL provided architectural consulting services for the design and construction of 7 new air treatment facilities throughout the City of Los Angeles. Each of the ATFs utilized a two-stage treatment system with dual media bio-trickling filters as the first stage and an activated carbon system as the second stage. The bio-trickling filter removes H2S and some odorous VOCs, while the carbon system removes the majority of remaining VOCs and odors, thus venting an odorless gas into the atmosphere..
