Renovation & Upgrades to 1st Floor Canteen at VAMC West LA

KAL was selected to renovate the kitchen, serving, and dining areas of the existing 1st Floor Canteen at the VAMC West Los Angeles campus. The scope of work included light demolition and hazardous materials abatement, installation and placement of VCS purchased cooking and serving equipment, and renovation of the dining and check-out areas including new furnishings, painting, flooring, and ceiling tiles. Utility systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and NFPA/Life Safety systems that serve these areas were brought to code. All areas of the kitchen, serving, and dining areas were also made ADA compliant.
