Conceptual Design to Repair/Consolidate Machine & Maintenance Shops

KAL provided A/E services for a Planning Charette Report to support the repair of 239,000 SF of Machine and Maintenance Shops for the US Air Force. The scope called for the demolition of a portion of the existing 1950s-era building resulting in 2 separate structures in better condition. These will consist of 1 building to the northeast and 1 to the south. The facility to the south comprises 2 structures connected to one another with a seismic joint. The demolished area of the original building now serves as an airport apron to access the future corrosion facility.
