KAL Architects, Inc. (KAL) was selected to provide second-tier subcontract services to ESC, a first-tier subcontractor to SAIC, for waterside security surveillance for the Port of Los Angeles. We are providing architectural, structural, electrical, and civil engineering support to the project. The project consists of designing and installing a CCTV system to protect the shoreline of the Port of Los Angeles.

KAL provided constructability review and design reviews for the replacement of the baggage handling equipment in the following terminals with new, higher-tech scanning equipment at Terminals 1 through 8 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX and for Terminals 2 and 4 at Ontario Airport.

KAL is the selected as Subcontractor Lead Design Firm for two (Laredo, TX Sector and Marfa, TX Sector) Design-Build Contracts for Tactical Infrastructure Projects as awarded by the Tulsa District to CKY Incorporated, Prime Contractor. These contracts support general construction, infrastructure improvements, and border security as may be required by the USACE and their Federal clients, including the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection. |
